About us

I am passionate about supporting people to learn and implement the skills they need to enable them to make lasting changes to their lives.

Much of what we do as human beings is the result of experiences and events we did not ask for and were outside our control. I aim to work together with clients to take back control of their lives and start to re-engage with the things in life that matter most to them. This may relate to areas such as work, leisure activities, self-care, and relationships.

This aim was my motivation for creating New Me Psychology and is what continues to drive me today.

Therapies

For many people, therapy provides a safe space to work through difficulties with someone by their side.

At New Me Psychology, We provide a blended approach to therapy, depending on the difficulties the individual is seeking support with and their personal preferences.

I offer a non-judgemental, person-centred approach drawing on one or more of the following therapies.

EMDR

Helps process distressing memories so they become less overwhelming, supporting recovery from trauma, anxiety, and difficult past experiences.

CBT

A structured, evidence-based approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns to improve mood, behaviour, and daily functioning.

ACT

Focuses on accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while helping you take meaningful action aligned with your values and long-term wellbeing.

CFT

Builds self-compassion and emotional resilience, helping you respond to difficult thoughts and feelings with understanding, balance, and care.

Your Three Step Journey

Needs & Goals Assessment

We take time to explore your experiences, identify key challenges, and clarify what you would like to achieve through therapy.

3

Agree a therapy plan

Together we create a clear, tailored plan, choosing the most appropriate approach and setting a pace that supports meaningful and lasting change.

Therapy Room

Therapy takes place in a purpose-built therapy room set within a peaceful garden in Fordingbridge. The space offers a calm, private and comfortable environment, designed to support open conversation and focused therapeutic work.
